You'll start by spending 2 weeks in our head office, where you'll get a great overview of the business. You'll meet our Group CEO, get to grips with our products and technology, discover how our operations and customer relationship teams work together and you'll even get a tour of our factory. You'll also attend several Prysmian-specific sessions about the Group strategies and economical-financial figures.
To get a true feel for the business, you'll get the chance to work in a number of roles within it. Over the course of a year, you'll spend 6 months working with our product technology team, 3 months in operations and 3 in customer relations. After each step you will be asked to write a brief experience report about your work in the function and what you learnt there. Alongside regular project-based work, your performance will be evaluated to help learn more about the kind of roles you'd be best suited for.
Having spent a year getting to know the business on a local level, you'll get the chance to expand your experience overseas. You'll embark on a two year international placement in Sales, Operations, R&D or Staff functions. Have a look at some of the possibilities that await you:
Finally, your broad experience and understanding of the business will mean you should be ready to take on a Junior Management Role, either in your home country or overseas. When the time comes, your performance over the course of your time with us will be evaluated and a range of options discussed with you.
Prysmian Group hired 90 new graduates in the last 2 years, through three editions of the Graduate Program. Applications for the fourth edition of the Program are currently open. It will be possible to apply until the end of November.
A few weeks after you got onboard, you will be assigned to a mentor who will be your professional guide as you start your career with us.
The mentorship program is an excellent opportunity for you to get close to the Prysmian culture and ask for precious advice about your career in
Prysmian and personal development as well. You will have the chance to demonstrate your strengths and explore your potential, while increasing career
networks and receive greater agency exposure.
"Mentoring is to support and encourage people to manage their own learning
in order that they may maximise their potential, develop their skills, improve their performance
and become the person they want to be."
